Mrs. Dr. Wells is in Bay City. Mrs. John Ferdon gave a reception last Saturday evening. Miss Hattie Rogers has been visiting friends in Stockbridge. Mrs. James Hause, of Clinton, visited friends here last week. Lieut. Harry Hunt, of the U. S. Army, formerly of this city, is in the city. Col. C. B. R. Pond, of Detroit, was the guest of Henry S. Dean over Sunday. Edward Duffy and John V. Sheehan attended the reception given Daniel Dougherty in Detroit, Saturday evening, and his lecture, Sunday evening.
