Wanted Again
Two young men who were recently in the toils of the law in this county, and went from here to Illinois, are again wanted by the officers, as the following clipping would indÃcate: Constable Morley arrested two young men, who gave the names of Harry Pattee and William Gunn, Sunday morning. They had two yellow grips filled with men's shoes, which they offered for $1.00 per pair. They claimed to have come from Chicago to Colmer. After being held 24 hours, they were re-' leased. It was afterwards discovered that the goods were stolen at Macorrb, 111., where these young men are wanted. Gunn is the fellow who went to the Detroit workhouse for stealing overcoats this f all. He was afterwards arrested in Jackson for the same offense, but released through influence. Pattee was arrested in Ypsilanti for larceny, but the case was nolleprossed. Idyl-wxiting is not idle writing, as some prosaic persons snppose.
