Four ounces of white castile soap, f our onnces of ammonia, two ounces of alcohol and two ounces of glycerine. Shave the soap in one qcart of water over the fire. When dissolved add four quarls of rain water, and when nearly cold the other ingredicnts. Bottle and keep in a cool placa One cup of this mixture in two quarts of water will be sufficient for ordinary use. Now lay the goods on an old sheet, and iron rapidly and lightly on the wrong side, and then roll tightly on a curtain pole or any round piece of wood.
