Seattle, Wash. , March 10. -The steamer Buckeye, with twenty passengere and her crew, is reported lost in the gale of Sunday night on Puget souDd, between Edmunds and Appletree Cove. The Buckeye had on board twenty passengers, mostly women and children, on a pleasure trip. A light was seen by some Edmunds 'longshoremen at 2 o'clock a. ni. during the storm, which is supposed to have been that of the Buckeye. It suddenly disappeared, and was seen nomore. Yesterdry larce quantities of vegetables were washed asLSre at Edmunds by the tide. The Buckeye had vegetables in her cargo.
