Join us for an online presentation with Veronica Williamson and Lindsey Willow Smith, curators of the online exhibit No, Not Even for a Picture at the Clements Library and the resulting poster exhibit on display at AADL's Downtown Library third floor exhibit space.

No, Not Even for a Picture will be on display on the third floor of the Downtown Library from November 2, 2022 to January 1, 2023.

 

In this Albumen print photograph, made by Fred E. Miller between 1898 and 1910, a group portrait of three unidentified Crow Indian women wearing mixtures of western and traditional clothing including bead necklaces gathering water in buckets.
