McDonough, his wife and their youngest child were killed Friday in a highway crash near Jackson, which injured four of the other five McDonough children. The five orphans are expected to live with relatives in Jackson following a triple funeral there tomorrow morning. Trust funds for the children, ranging from 2 to 13 years old, have been set up in Jackson and by the Ypsilanti Goodfellows.

Mrs. Keppler varies the color with white shasta daisies, double purple and pink cone flower daises and yellow sunburst coreopis of the same family. These are of similar heights. Cool June temperatures keep the perennials from wilting, she says. She used no fertilizer.

Mothers and babies were plentiful at Ypsilanti's Forest Street Baptist Church Saturday for a state-wide meeting of the La Leche League--a world-wide organization which was formed in 1956 to give help and encouragement to women interested in "good mothering through breast-feeding." Among the 125 adults and children at Saturday's conference were (from left) Mrs. Ronald J. Conkey and 6-month-old Maureen, Mrs. Ronald L. Hemmelgarn and 9-month-old Amanda, all Ann Arborites, with Mrs. A. Wayne Morsfield of Ypsilanti.
