The OberlinIi6t informs usthatthe following pledges are required of every clerk under the new ad ministration at Washington: 1. That he will be a total abstinence man, never tasting ofanyardent epirits, wine, or other intoxicating drink. 2. That he will not gamble nor play at chance games. 3.
