- From the statistics of Agricultura furnislied by the Government, the following l'ucts tnay be Jearned: 1. That Wheat, oats, rye, Indian corn, potatoes, hay and tobáceo are raised in every State and Territory of the Union. 2. That barley is raised in all except Louisiana. 3. That buckwheat ia raised in all except Louishna and Florida. 4. That New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohi", and VViskonsan do not ra ise cotton. 5. That the States which du not mise cotton, together with Delaware, Muryland, and Indiana, do not raise rice. 6. That every State end Terrilory, except Iowa, does raise sillc. 7. Thai every State except Dcl.iware, inake8 sugar. These are curious facts, as fchowing the great variety of agriculturul ]ruJucfions.We love the Union - and wou ld stand by t at every risk, bul tliat of being insulled and betrayed in Is name - and therefore it is we now say to the South, Beware - you have taught us to calcúlate the value of the Union, and we have calculated it - push us not to the conclusión.
