We have received the first number of this splendid work. The whole edition will be contained in about 50 numbers at 25 cents each, and is to be embellished with 1600 historical engravings, and añ engraved initial letter to each chapter. . It will contain the Apocrypha, a Concordance, Chronological Table, &c. &c The first number is an elegant specimen of the typographical art. The engravings are good, but a portion of them are considered by some as too indelicate for a family Bible - an opinión in which we also concur. . The work is for sale at C. Mosely's Book Store.(tT0 The Constiution of this State provides that the seat of Government shall be at Detroit, or at such other place as shall be established by law, until 1847, when it shall be permanently located.
