Wliereas, The prosperity of the village of Ann Arbor is closely connected with iliat of the Michigan UniversUy- and Whereas, The prosperity of the latter depende materially on the good name of the form'er, established through ihe length andbreadth of the State, Therefore: Resolved, Thnt Ãl iè the diüy of every inhabilant of the village to exert on influence in favor of order and stricl morality: and that to do this efiiciently, they should nëither .make, use, or vend intoxicating tiquors.
