Strivo on - the orean no'er wns crossed, Repining on the shore : A nation's freedom nc'er waa won When Sluih the banner boro. Strive on - 'lis cownrdly to shrink When dungcrs rise around : 'Tis sweeter far, tliough linked with pain, To gain the vantage-ground.
