late Educational Society. The friends of Education are herebv respectfully nformed thal a meeting will be held at the Court House in Ann Arbor, on Wednesday the 23'd of June next, at 10 o'clock A. M., for the purpose of forming a Slate organization. - The immedinte objects of the meeting will be to adopt a Constiiulion and elect officers of an associaiion auxiliary to the North WeMern Educational Society; lo be held at Mihvaukee on the third Wednesday of July 1846, and to adopt such measures as may seem conducive lo the advancement of edueational interests in our own State. It isearnestly reeommended to all the Educa'.ional Associations in Michigan to nppoint a proper number of delégales to the contemplated meeting, in order tbot a full attendanco,an enthusiastic co-nperation and an energetic system of measures may give a new impulse lo th good cause within ourremusuiu. The undersigned, Corresponuing Secretary of the North Western Kducalional Society, hopesthat everv County Educationnl Society in the State will send dclegates to this Convention for the rganization ofaStaie Educational Society. In tliose counties where no societies have been formed, or where meetings mtiy not bo held for the eleciion of delégales, individanls frtendly to the cause are inviled to volunleer.
