Black Elk
"Throughout the years Black Elk has fulfilled a strong commitment to maintaining a cooperative and social atmosphere. We have a long-running tradition for healthy vegetarian and vegan cuisine; no meat is allowed on the property. We also pride ourselves on being environmentally conscious and responsible. Our members vary in age, interests, sexual orientation, and gender identity- we create an environment that is friendly to all! We welcome and encourage people with broad thoughts, creative ideas, and diverse backgrounds."
"Beautiful woodsy back yard with a fire pit, jungle gym, a secured bike barn, 9 parking spots, and composting facilities. The basement has tons of storage, TV with a chrome cast, video games, a ball pit, and a laundry room. Gorgeous second-floor study has a small library, access to the second-floor porch, and a wireless printer. Murals and artwork by generations of former Elkers adorn many of the walls. Also, the house has 4 bathrooms, all of which are gender-neutral."
