Muskrat Falls Asleep In Doorway of Mast Shoe Store on Liberty St., March 1964 Photographer: Doug Fulton
Year:
1964
Published In:
Ann Arbor News, March 24, 1964
Caption:
Rambling Muskrat: It must have been quite a night on the town for this young Br'er Muskrat who couldn't find his way home and fell asleep at the entrance to Mast Shoe Store, 619 E. Liberty [this photo]. The drowsy animal is about to be carried off (lower left) by Mynning, 4280 Pratt Road, with heavy gloves to protect against the rodent's teeth. Fully awake (lower right), the muskrat seems to be wondering how he ended up in the midst of civilization. Mynning let it go at his parents' area farm.
