Mrs. Melissa Burgess, 217 1/2 N. Main St., is celebrating her 90th birthday today with her two daughters, Mrs. T. E. Bishop of Ann Arbor and Mrs. W. R. Adair of Detroit, and their families. At the small reunion will be Mr. and Mrs. Bishop's two sons, Arthur and Robert, and Mrs. Adair's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Thomas of Miami, Fla., and their three children. Mrs. Burgess came to this country, from St. Johns, New Brunswick, in 1879.
