SCORED FIRST TOUCHDOWN: Harry Koruan, speedy left halfback on the Ann Arbor High team, had the honor of scoring the first touchdown for the Pioneers this season when he crossed the Monroe goal in the second period on a plunge through the line. Koruan's 33-yeard pass to Walker Lang on the Monroe four-yard stripe set the stage for the score. Besides registering one of the Ann Arbor touchdowns Koruan's fine punting played a major part in the Purple and White's 14-6 victory over Monroe.

ANN ARBOR's GREEK BRIGADE: Louis Hollway, coach of the Ann Arbor High football team, will pin his hopes for a successful season on the gridiron this fall squarely on the shoulders of the four stalwart Greek athletes shown above. From left to right they are Louis Apostolou, tackle; Eddie Jamadanian, quarterback; Capt. Pete Gochis, guard, and Harry Koruan, halfback. All but Jamadanian are regulars and Eddie may crash the starting line-up if he continues the fine play he has shown in recent scrimmage sessions. The Pioneers were in Wayne today in quest of their second victory of the season.
