Deep in the heart of every boy is the desire to dig - "down to China, I betcha." Most usually, a cave house is the end object, but occasionally, just any large hole will do. Here, Tommy McMullen, 7, of 1407 Linwood, is spending part of his vacation in heavy excavation work on a vacant lot next to his home. His friend, David Wagner, 8, of 112 N. Revena, provides a little critical advice as he leans on a shovel. Holes such as the one they boys are digging usually are filled in later by parental request.
