ONE OF FIRST U-M GRADS: The Rev. Judson D. Collins was a member of the first University graduating class and was the first Methodist Episcopal Church missionary who went to China where, history recounts, he laid the foundation of Chinese educational life in a public school at Soochow. The Rev. Mr. Collins' grave is on the Stephen Hadley farm on Roepke Rd. in a cemetery plot which is a memorial to the churchman.
