Five Slauson Junior High students act out a scene from "No Time For Skirts," a one-act situation comedy presented last week at the school. The students are (from left) Jack Juni, Carol Frederickson, Henry Pope, Pamela Evans and John Miller. The cast consisted of 13 ninth-grade speech and drama students. Mrs. Carole West directed the play. Performances were given for both Slauson students and parents and friends.

The drive to provide the two scholarships officially got under way today following an organizational meeting last night at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
