Gov. Williams At Tornado Scene: Gov. G. Mennen Williams (center) talks with persons in the Saxony Subdivision last night following the tornado which destroyed two homes and damaged 11 others. The governor and Lt. Gov. Philip A Hart arrived at the scene shortly after they had heard a state police broadcast of the disaster.

Tornado Destruction: This is the rear of the Glenn Griffin residence following last night's storm. The barn was destroyed and rubble strewn throughout the are but no one in the Griffin family was hurt. There were no serious injuries in the area.

Storm Damage: The roof of the Glenn Griffin home at 6450 Rickett Rd., just west of the Saxony Subdivision, south of Brighton, was ripped off and dumped at the front of the house by last night's tornado. The house was also hit by the 1952 tornado.
