Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Bixby of 716 Arbor St. look over some of the gifts they received when their children surprised them on their 50th wedding anniversary last Saturday in Fort Wayne. The couple was married Oct. 4, 1902, in Caro and has lived in Ann Arbor since 1923. They have four children, three of them living in Fort Wayne.

FLOWERS TRIBUTE ON GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY: Beautiful floral bouquets and flowering plants were presented to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, Earhart Rd., Emery, shown above, on their golden wedding anniversary yesterday. The former is 81 years old; the latter 77. They were married in St. Joseph's church, Dexter, and have resided in their present home 45 years. Besides the floral tributes, there were messages from friends and relatives.

CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING DATE - Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. Chandler, Chelsea, shown above celebrated their golden wedding anniversary yesterday with four children, three of whom are teachers in Detroit schools, and numerous friends present. A fifth child died several years ago. They have been residents of Chelsea since their wedding, Nov. 16, 1886. Two grandchildren have been graduated from the University of Michigan. After dinner at a Chelsea restaurant the couple held open house at their home.
