Golden Wedding Anniversary Couple John and Luella Wurster, May 1969

"A family dinner on Saturday will honor Mr. and Mrs. Wurster of Maplewood St. on the occasion of the 60th wedding anniversary. The dinner to be held at 7p.m. at the Fireside Inn, will be hosted by the couple's family. Their children are Mrs. J. M. Leimenstoll of Cincinnati; Mrs. Norman Stierle, Mrs. Donald W. Angell, and John L. Wurster all of Ann Arbor; and Mrs. Leland H. Richards and Roland E. Wuster, both of Ypsilanti. The former Luella Jedele and Mr. Wurster, were wed home May 27, 1909 at her parents' home on Scio Church Rd. They have live in the Ann Arbor area throughout their lives Mr. Wurster retired from his work in carpentry and painting in 1958. Both enjoy flower gardening, and Mrs. Wurster is a members of the MOMS (Mothers of Men in Service), Inc."
