This window display at the Marilyn Shoppe, decorated with fine ladies' from yesteryear, announces the Ann Arbor Women's City Club's upcoming Antique Sale, May 23-25. The trunk, hat and clothing displayed originally belonged to Mrs. Kingsley Scott Bingham, wife of the first Republican Governor of Michigan. The white petticoat was made by Miss Genevieve Read in about 1895.

"The Antique Fair, housed under a larger tent on North University, has been plagued by three days of rain, but still was drawing crowds of antique enthusiasts. Some 30 dealers are represented in Bargain Days activities this year. They feature everything from jewelry and 1920 clothing to dishes and picture frames."
