Home Is Where . . . Who but an English Sparrow would choose a ruddy, leather-paneled home, which polished brass accents? A month or so ago an unidentified woman left her purse in a car at the Herb Estes used car lot on Washtenaw. Unable to find the owner, a salesman hung it on a nail at the rear of the office, where anyone driving through would see it. Now comfortably at home in the nest in the purse are three young sparrows and an egg.
