Future Site For Homes In City's Southwest Side: This plot of land between Pauline and Stadium Blvds. in the city's southwest side is expected to be the site of 63 homes by the end of this summer. The land was laid out by Eugene H. Hannah, who said that most of the lots have been sold to individuals. He added that he would build from 15 to 20 homes here and that various other contractors would complete the project. The property has been rough-graded, and a new home is seen in the background. The group of houses in the far background is in Arbordale subdivision across Pauline Blvd. On the Stadium Blvd. section of this plot, workmen are putting in sewers.

Wrought from Brush: These scenes depict land development at a fine point. It's the Deimen-Stull subdivision and Bunny Lake, just off Portage Lake in Livingston county. It's man-made. About four years ago, this was scrub land, apparently unwanted. Hidden springs held the key, destined to be turned by C. R. Stull, aided by Dr. Albert Deimen.
