Aerial Photograph of the Huron River Along Barton Shores Drive, July 1957
Year:

Published In:
Ann Arbor News, July 6, 1957
Caption:
Summer in Barton: Along Barton Shore Dr. in the summertime, the Huron River looks placid and the foliage cools the countryside. Nestled here and there are homes, designed to make life comfortable. That brings up a point. Barely visible through the trees, these homes are not flanked by formal lawns and gardens and statuesque fountains demanded by a past generation. Nature reigns supreme.
