Student Council Installs: Michael Bass was installed as president of the Harriet School Student Council in a candlelight ceremony at a school assembly Friday. Outgoing president who passes the flame to Michael is Rosita Hargrave. Other students installed were (left to right) Elizabeth Bradbury and Gloria Bow, outgoing secretary and vice-president respectively and incoming officers, Gregory Robinson, vice-president; Almeda Clay secretary, and Mary Taylor, treasurer.

The students, with the help of their teacher, Miss Ruth Sampson, made the individual mail boxes shown in the background for deposit of Valentines. The cards will be distributed at the class party Tuesday.
