PLUNGES OFF JACKSON ROAD BRIDGE: Because the tractor remained on the road, no one was injured as this truck trailer toppled off a temporary bridge into Mill creek about seven miles west of here. The driver's name was not learned, but the trailer bore the name "Michigan Interstate Lines, Inc." The Mill creek bridge is one of the hazardous points of construction west of here, made worse by snow and ice.

ANN ARBOR MAN BECOMES 19TH COUNTY TRAFFIC FATALITY: William J. Hutton of Ann Arbor was killed after his car crashed into this Silkworth Oil Co. gasoline tank truck south of Ypsilanti today. The truck, loaded with 500 gallons of gasoline, did not catch fire, but Ypsilanti township firemen were called. Hutton was traveling south on this curve of Stoney Creek Rd. when his car apparently went over the center line and collided with the northbound truck, state police said, knocking the rear wheels from under the truck (left). The truck was hit just behind the cab, injuring the driver.
