Weather Aids Church Construction - Construction has moved steadily on Ann Arbor's two main church building projects, thanks to the mild winter. The new $120,000 Second Baptist Church on Beakes St. (above) is nearing completion. The church is expected to be ready for use by Mother's Day, the second Sunday of May. Finishing work is now under-way. The plain windows will be replaced by stained glass panes upon completion.
