Mrs. Geraldine J. Shambaugh of 3006 Williamsburg received awards from Capt. D. J. Deka (left) made posthumously to her son, Pfc. Gregory Shambaugh, who died in action in Vietnam in March. They include the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart and the Good Conduct Medal. During his service Pfc. Shambaugh had been awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Ribbon, Combat Infantryman Badge, Parachutist Badge and several sharpshooter badges. He left a widow, Mrs. Camilla S. Shambaugh, and father, Robert Shambaugh of Toledo.

The Good Old Times: Practicing for the musical program to be presented at "Spring Frolic," the Sunshine Circle's annual banquet to be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church are (standing, left to right) Mrs. Carl Braun, Mrs. Theodore Perkins, Mrs. Ralph Burt and Mrs. Paul Johnson. Mrs. Ralph Raiford is seated at the piano. The women will wear their old-fashioned dresses to the banquet which is being held in observance of the founding of the Order of the King's Daughters and Sons.
