MORE SPACE FOR LEGIONNAIRES: Still in the early stages of construction, the two-story east wing addition to the home of the Erwin Prieskorn post of the American Legion, 1035 S. Main St. will provide additional facilities to accommodate large numbers of World War II veteran members. Ground was broken for the project, which will cost $35,000, March 8.

Three major domestic airlines and a local service carrier have moved to the Wayne county airfield from Willow Run Airport since last fall. They joined two overseas airlines which have operated several flights weekly from Detroit Metro for several years. The $8,500,000 Detroit Metro terminal was opened Oct . 1, 1958.
