Dirty Dig: Examining a simulated grave dug into the 16th green at the Ann Arbor Municipal Golf Course are (left to right) S. S. Sproull, city Parks and Recreation Department superintendent; Alfred W. Bauer, department maintenance supervisor; and Patrolman Harold Rady. Sproull said total cost of repairing the hole, which has been filled in, will be about $150. A toy mouse wrapped in paper was found at the bottom of the 2 1/2-foot-deep hole, which was about five feet long and four feet wide. Sproull said those responsible may have thought the act "clever" and added, "I don't. I think it's stupidity." The sod had been cut out carefully, so it was put back in place.
