HALF-PINTS SHOOT GOOD GOLF: Here are the three smallest golfers competing this week in the city junior golf tournament at the University of Michigan course. They are scarcely taller than the clubs they swing, but they can play good golf. Reading from left to right, the future champions are Jim Briegel, H. Vitale and Roger Kessler. They all won their opening round matches but were eliminated in yesterday's second round. However, all three were good sportsmen and good losers as the above picture indicates as they trudged back to the caddie house after meeting defeat.

THEY'LL CHEER FOR PIONEERS: These nine young people will be urging the stands to make some organized noise tonight and other nights this fall when Ann Arbor High meets its opponents on the football field. They are, left to right, Benn Scott, Carl Brauer, Bob Blaess, Don Baylis, Jim Briegel, Dorine Haab, Nancy Coller, Pat Schmidt and Mary Schmidt. The two young ladies at the far right should provide double attraction to the crowds. They are twins.
