Sunday Soloists Soloists for a musical vesper service at 4 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church will be (left to right) Michael Robbins, Karen Emens, Eugene Dybdahl and Lois Alt. Ronald Jeffers also will be a soloist. The service is open to the public. Schubert's "Mass in G" and five "Mystical Songs" by Ralph Vaughn-Williams will be sung.

WILD ONES: Rehearsing a touching scene from Albert Lortzing's comic opera "Wildschutz" are (rear) Lois Alt, playing the Countess, and the opera's director Ralph Herbert, playing Schoolmaster, and (front) Jane Pieper, playing the Baroness, and Walter Wyatt, playing the Count. The opera opens at 8 p.m. today in Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre, with the orchestra conducted by Josef Blatt. Performances are at 8 p.m. today through tSaturday. No one will be admitted to the theatre during the performances.
