New Look - Sgt. Robert Seifert of the Ann Arbor Police Department sits in one of seven new city police cars painted black with a white top. The old cars were brown and white. Major Howard Zeck said the department is buying five more cars that will be painted all white for greater visibility. And those five cars will be compacts that are a bit less costly to purchase and much cheaper to maintain than the standard-sized police car, Zeck said.
