Coleman, first grade, and (from left, standing) Mrs. Kenneth Jochim, special education, and Lloyd Gutknecht, fourth grade. Jones and other elementary and junior high schools begin classes on Friday. Ann Arbor High School's classes begin Thursday. Teachers were busy with preparations today.

Petit Dejeuner: The fourth grade French class at Jones Elementary School treated a group of first graders to a French breakfast this morning. On the menu were the foods which a French child typically eats for breakfast- bread and hot chocolate. Supervising the affair were Miss Marilyn Cogan, Mrs. Jane Steeb and Lloyd Gutknecht, teachers. There was a catch in it for the fourth graders-they would go hungry if they did not ask for their servings in French. The first graders entertained their hosts by singing two French songs.
