Prize Pumpkins? Highlighting the annual Family Harvest Gala of the First Congregational Church will be a Jack O'Lantern contest for the children of the congregation. Mrs. Ernest Nicolaides' children, (left to right) Mary, 5, David, 7 1/2, and Mark 8 1/2, are busy adding that last "sinister grin" to their pumpkins. Prizes will be awarded for the best small and large pumpkins and for the most unique, most happy and most scary.

'Treasure Tree': Lynn Bottum, Jim Knight and Tom Ufer (left to right) decorate a "Treasure Tree" with balls of wool yarn in which children from the first and second grades of the First Congregational Church school have wrapped tiny toys. The gifts will be sent to Algerian refugee centers in Tunisia and Morocco where mothers are being taught to knit. The toys will be given to refugee children. The refugee centers are maintained by the American Friends Service committee which has planned the yarn balls as a service project. Mrs. H. M. Crooks, jr., is superintendent of the local church school's primary department.

Limb, minister of foreign affairs for Korea and a delegate to the United Nations, is shown here with Mrs. Jim Bob Stephenson, publicity chairman of the Washtenaw Country Christian Rural Overseas Project (CROP). Limb, who came to Ann Arbor for a University Platform Attractions lecture was told by Mrs. Stephenson that CROP workers seek $10,000 during Lent to sent about 60,000 pounds of dry milk to Korea for needy children. He said that Korea has 150,000 orphans and no dairy industry. Members of the local CROP drive Korea committee will meet at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow, in the First Congregational Church.
