YOUNG TENNIS ENTHUSIAST VISITS HERE: Loretta Jacobs of New York City is getting in a lot of tennis before she returns east to go back to school. Her frequent practice is evident in the neat back-hand drive in full run, photographed when she was playing on the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club court last week-end. Loretta, who is the daughter of Dr and Mrs. Albert C. Jacobs of New York, has been at Berkeley, Calif. this summer with her parents and spent last year here with her grandparents, Regent and Mrs. Junius E. Beal of S. Fifth Ave., whom she is visiting again with her parents and their other children on their way home.

READY FOR TOURNEY START: Lawrence Fest, 1122 Forest Ave., has been practicing daily on the courts at the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing club for the Ann Arbor News novice tennis tournament which starts this week. A REST BETWEEN TENNIS MATCHES: Molly Hunter of Geddes Rd. and her house guest, Henrietta Hicks of Greenwich, Conn., are enthusiastic beginners in tennis and played a few matches on the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club courts yesterday morning. As they stopped for a brief breathing spell, the group above includes, from left to right, Molly Hunter, Nancy Griffin of Ridgeway Rd., and Henrietta. The visitor, who will be a senior at Rosemary Hall in Greenwich next year, is spending a few weeks at Riverbend, the home of Molly and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Hunter on Geddes Rd.
