BODY OF CITY'S FIRST HERO WAR DEAD ARRIVES: The remains of Pfc. Myrl Heusel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heusel of 1040 W. Liberty St., arrived at the Michigan Central station this morning. Sgt. Robert Sayle of Van Dyke, Mich., escorted the body on its homeward trip. Military burial will be held in Bethlehem Cemetery Sunday afternoon following 2 o'clock funeral services at the Muehlig Chapel, with both VFW and American Legion members officiating at the graveside rites.

CAMPUS SOLDIERS ESCORT JAP SUBMARINE: Two crack drill outfits from the 3651st Army service unit stationed on the University campus escorted the Jap submarine on its tour of Ann Arbor Saturday, along with the band from the Air Forces weather school. The drill platoons, from Companies A and C, thrilled the crowds with their trick marching, sometimes part of the men marching in different directions and crossways of the street. The company A platoon is shown above.
