"Arbor Week" was observed in proper style yesterday as students at Ann Arbor's Dicken Elementary School helped plant 38 trees. Digging (from left) are student William Beach; Dicken Principal Jean Henne; Dr. William Stapp, outdoor education consultant for the Ann Arbor Public Schools; Cathy Hartman and Sue McCreedy. Yesterday's tree-planting at Dicken inaugurated the school's beautification project. Several other city schools also planted trees this week.
