The building contains 21,820 square feet and is laid out in three units - one to house the first through third grades; another for grades four, five and six; and a unit for office area, a gymnasium and an assembly room. The school is located on Bedford near Overidge. Colvin, Robinson, Wright and Associates are the architects for the school project.

BUILDING PROGRESSES: A new $1,200,000 national center for research in animal biosystematics as an addition to the University's Museums Building is shown here rising in back of that well-known structure. Occupying a space formerly occupied by a small zoo and parking lot near the intersection of N. University and Forest Aves., the 50x118-foot structure will have six levels with four floors above ground. Workmen this week had raised the structure to the third floor level.
