Garden-Pool Entrance To Gosling Home: When members of the L. A. Peter Gosling family of 325 Barton North Drive, Ann Arbor, want to enter their home, they face the pleasant task of deciding whether to use the stepping stones or the wooden bridge over the garden pool at the entrance. The Gosling children, Peter, 10, and Kelcie, 13, make a leisurely pause on the stepping stones, while Betsey, 8, perches nearby with the family's pet cat on the bridge. Mrs. and Mrs. Gosling like the natural effect of Japanese gardens they say during their travels in the Orient and designed this garden pool for their contemporary home in Baron Hills. The stepping stones were gathered on family trips about Washtenaw County.
