Duchess: The Quenons' Choice, July 1969
Year:
1969
Published In:
Ann Arbor News, July 27, 1969
Caption:
Five-year-old Neil Quenon and his brother, John, 7, watch the antics of their newly-acquired puppy, Duchess. The dog, a Labrador-Setter combination, requires a great deal of supervision because she is still in the chewing stage and nothing in the house is safe if she can get her mouth around it. Neil and John are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest L. Quenon of Wayne Street. Duchess was chosen after the ninth family ballot by the Quenons instead of a beagle pup.
