Preparing American Food: It is not an easy task to prepare an American dish, according to homemakers of other countries. That is why the Washtenaw County Co-operative Extension Service will demonstrate the preparation of five simple, yet economical, main dishes at the Community Center Monday for members of the International Neighbors organization. Observing Mrs. Tyson Kemp make a gelatin dessert are (left to right) Mrs. Bonifacio Sibayan of the Philippine Islands; Mrs. Alice Epple, director of the County Co-operative Extension Service; Mrs. Kemp, one of five women who will give the demonstrations Monday; Mrs. Akio Kudo of Japan; and Mrs. Hector Alvarez of Chili.
