Embryo electricians are given pointers by instructor John Kowatch on how to bend electrical conduit pipe correctly with a conduit bender. The youths, Ed Hewitt (center), 22, of 8334 Platt Rd. and Thomas Kittel (right), 24, of 1106 S. Main St., are members of Kowatch's electricians' apprentice class. As such, they spend four years in a unique training program of "learning by doing," directed toward making them finished construction electricians.

Fourth Ave. Completely remodeled, the studio consists of four rooms - the Harmony Room for recitals, the Organ Room, a piano studio and a children's classroom. Mrs. Seeback, who has taught piano for over 30 years, formerly operated out of her apartment building at 320 E. Washington St.
