SUNDAY DRIVERS: There are always loads of pleasant things to do when playmates come visiting the children of Dr. and Mrs. Gerald A. O'Connor of Saline Road. On Sunday afternoon, a favorite pastime is taking a pony cart ride down country lanes in a cart drawn by pony, "Topsy," with colt, "Ringo Starr," nearby. In the foreground (from left) are Jerry, Pat and Ann O'Connor and Cassie Mann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Mann of Granger Avenue. Seated in the background (from left) are Cathy and Maureen O'Connor and Kathy DeVine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John DeVine of Granger Avenue. The two-wheeler governess' cart is 50 years old.

Maureen O'Connor (third from left), president of the student council at St. Francis Catholic School, helps Peter Savarino (extreme right) pack a box of food to give to a needy local family for Thanksgiving. The food drive was a Student Council project. Making place mats for a local convalescent home are Mary Contrucci and William Amstutz. The making of the place mats was the idea of Amstutz, and was a fifth-grade Thanksgiving project.

"World of Wonder" is the these of St. Thomas High School's homecoming. Miss O'Connor will be crowned at a formal dance being help Friday night in the School's auditorium. St. Tomes play Britton-Macon at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Hollway Field.
