Studio Ann Arbor? Jeff Heyn of Planet Neon of Novi works on the sign for the new Nectarine Ballroom. The club is scheduled to open to the public next Thursday at 10 p.m. More than $500,000 has been spent on the renovation of the former Second Chance, according to owner John Carver. The club, modeled on New York City nightspot Studio 54, will feature both dance music spun by a disc jockey and live bands.
