Troops 1 and 2 and the Sea Scout troop of Tappan school, shown above, will broaden their activities this summer with trips and new equipment financed by the benefit performance at 8:15 tomorrow night in Tappan auditorium. "The Importance of Being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde will be given by students of Prof. R. D. T. Hollister's class in drama.

BEFORE THE FRESH WINDS: The Sea Scout Ship "Trade Wind" made its first trial run of the season yesterday at Portage lake with Bos'n's Mate Ronell White, Ordinary Seaman Fred Cowan and Skipper K. C. Marantette putting her through her paces. The "Trade Wind" is a Grand Banks dory purchased at a Boston fish pier. This boat is similar to the one used in the picture "Captains Courageous."
