A SECLUDED WILD FLOWER GARDEN: Typical of the treatment advised by the Federated Garden clubs of Michigan, which will meet here next week, is the secluded scene above, on the estate of Alex Dow in Barton Hills. Trilliums and ferns are left undisturbed beside the stone steps that lead up to the hills above Barton pond. The practice of picking trillium stalks ruins many such scenes of beauty that are open to the public as the plants die without the three leaves below the blossom.
