Boatswain's Mate, 1/C, Kirby Ludwick, jr., USN, a prisoner of war in Japan since the fall of Wake, returns home to greet his sons, Ronnie (left) who was only six months old when his father went overseas, and Kirby, the third (right), seven years old. This picture was taken by The News photographer on the steps of the Ludwick home, 726 Gott St. Mrs. Ludwick, the former Elsie London of Jackson, is employed at Argus, Inc.
